History

Famous for supplying the cement for the State Capitol of Texas, the original rock quarry closed down in 1983 after nearly 100 years of operation. One tradition simply paved way for another, resulting in the unparalleled Quarry Golf Club Experience.

The Quarry Golf Club opened in 1993 after an award-winning design by Keith Foster. Careful chiseling of stone gave birth to a course unmatched ever since.

Our Golf Club Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) Superintendent Bruce Burger prepares the course daily and our staff of PGA Professionals will complete an experience that exceeds your expectations. We offer 10-minute tee times ensuring the best pace of play in San Antonio. The Quarry Golf Club is located less than eight minutes from downtown and five minutes from the airport.
